Gian Luca Gardini – Get to know our Research Team

The Jean Monnet Research Project “The reconfiguration of the EU presence in Latin America”  – in short: @EUinLAC – brings together an interdisciplinary team of young and established scholars, balanced in gender and age. Today we present Gian Luca Gardini, University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany:

Short bio – Gian Luca Gardini:

Gian Luca Gardini is Professor of International Relations and Latin American Politics. He joined Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2014 as Chair of International Business and Society Relations with focus on Latin America. He has previously taught at the University of Cambridge and at the University of Bath in the United Kingdom. His main research interests cover the international relations of Latin America, foreign policy analysis, and comparative regional integration.

Breve bio – Gian Luca Gardini:

Gian Luca Gardini es Profesor Catedrático de Relaciones Internacionales. Desde Abril 2014 es titular de la Cátedra de International Business and Society Relations con foco en América Latina de la Universidad Friedrich-Alexander de Erlangen-Nuremberg. Anteriormente trabajó en las Universidades de Cambridge y de Bath en Gran Bretaña. Su investigación cubre las relacciones internacionales de Latinonamérica, análisis de política exterior, e integración regional comparada.
