Sandra Zapata – Get to know our Research Team

The Jean Monnet Research Project “The reconfiguration of the EU presence in Latin America”  – in short: @EUinLAC – brings together an interdisciplinary team of young and established scholars, balanced in gender and age. Short bio – Sandra Zapata:

Sandra Zapata is a researcher at the Chair of International Business and Society Relations with Focus on Latin America at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in Germany. She holds a PhD in Social Sciences from Salamanca University, Spain. She has a master in International Relations from FLACSO-Ecuador and in Development Policies from Seoul National University in South Korea. Her research topics include South-South cooperation, regionalism and international political economy of development.

Breve bio – Sandra Zapata:

Sandra Zapata se desempeña como investigadora en el área de Relaciones Internacionales en la Universidad Friedrich-Alexander Erlangen-Núremberg (FAU), Alemania. Es doctora en Ciencias Sociales por la Universidad de Salamanca, España. Tiene un máster en Relaciones Internacionales por FLACSO-Ecuador y otro en Políticas de Desarrollo por la Universidad Nacional de Seúl, Corea del Sur. Sus líneas de investigación incluyen la economía política del desarrollo, cooperación Sur-Sur, y regionalismo latinoamericano.
